Soooo, how's your Norwegian?  We got an email the other day entitled "Totally incomprehensible review..."  Turns out we got our first international review!  It's a music blog based in Norway that focuses on "Good American Rock."  Check out the review HERE, and learn more about the blog and it's author after the jump!

New Review

I woke up this morning to a nice review in my mailbox.  A cool blog called Beat Surrender.  They cover all kinds of rootsier music, much of which we enjoy here at D.O.C. HQ.  It's a really nice blog with tons of stuff there.  You can find the review HERE.

Free Song!

Hey all!  So we now have our mailing list up and running.  Why join?  So you can get a free song!  It's from a live thing we did in February.  Being the recording dorks that we are, we taped it.  Being even more dorky, we didn't record the performance off the console, we went full Grateful Dead bootleg style and put a mic on the PA speakers! It actually sounds good and you might hear a few more tracks from that night in the coming weeks.

We all had a great time at The Hotel Cafe last Friday!  Thanks to Brother Sal, Jamie Drake, and Miss Willie Brown for playin' with us.

Here are a few photos taken by the amazing Andy Baxter.  Andy came all the way out from Georgia to see the rock show and boy are we grateful, because his pictures are awesome.

New Review & Show Reminder!

Hi Everybody!

We got a new review of "People. Places. Things." courtesy of A FIFTY CENT LIGHTER & A WHISKEY BUZZ.  That is quite possibly the best name of a blog that I have heard in some time.

Also, Friday is the record release show at The Hotel Cafe.  Brother Sal, Miss Willie Brown, and now Jamie Drake are also playing.  A great lineup for a great night!  Get your face rocked off.
